Founding story

I created MyVault because as my life became more complex, every major decision became an archaeological dig through scattered documents, old emails, and forgotten folders. Each decision affected my family's wellbeing, yet I had no single repository for important information.

When AI tools launched, I thought I'd found the answer. But I quickly discovered they were restrictive, invasive, and fundamentally misaligned with user needs. I found myself cobbling together 10 different tools, spending hours curating files, constantly hitting limits and restrictions. The harsh reality: these tools exist to harvest our data, not help us.

I needed a different approach.

MyVault is your own digital brain – like having a digital twin with AI superpowers that works exclusively for you, remembers everything so you don't have to, and never shares your thoughts with anyone else.
